Galveston Rescue

CAP recently assisted the Galveston County Animal Resource Center after they seized over 200 cats from a hoarding situation. Galveston ARC put out a plea to organizations in the area to take some of the animals in the shelter so they could make room for the cats from the seizure, as these cats will have to be held as evidence in a criminal prosecution. CAP was able to take ten cats from the shelter and also transported three dogs who had been at the shelter for a while. Two of the dogs and several cats were adopted within days of the transfer. CAP has agreed to take more animals if needed.
