What's the best attraction at the Reliant World Series of Dog Shows? It's the 6th annual Designer Doghouse Competition! The choice is yours: You can build a house, buy a house or cast your vote to decide the winners.

Citizens for Animal Protection is searching for individuals, groups and companies willing to accept the challenge to build designer digs for this unique competition. All puppy palaces are accepted – indoor and outdoor – large and small. We need them all! Your special creation will be auctioned off at the dog show to be held July 22-25, 2010 at Reliant Center with all proceeds benefitting all the homeless animals at the CAP shelter waiting for a forever home. Prizes will be awarded for the People's Choice, Kid's Choice and Dixie's Choice. Download and complete the 2010 Designer Doghouse Competition Entry Form to enter your design idea today!

For those of you seeking that over-the-top conversation piece of a puppy palace for your special pooch, come by the Citizens for Animal Protection booth in the front of Reliant Center and check out the marvelous mansions for man's best friend on display. Bidding in the silent auction begins on Thursday, July 22nd and ends Sunday, July 25th at 3:30pm. There are also crafts for kids, so come by and place your vote for your favorite house and be a part of choosing the winners of the competition.
