Doghouse Winners

From July 22-25, 2010, the 6th Annual Designer Doghouse Competition & Silent Auction was held at the Reliant Park World Series of Dog Shows, benefiting Citizens for Animal Protection.  Entrants created doghouses hoping to win the People's Choice, Kid's Choice, & Dixie's Choice awards.  Dixie, CAP's mascot, picked her favorite, "Dog Dreams" by Terry Collman pictured to the left.  CAP youth volunteers manned a crafts table for the kids in attendance and also promoted CAP's programs.  All in all, another fantastic show - thanks to all the volunteers, staff and Reliant Park for making this event a success.  See our online album for photos of "The Salty Dog" which won the People's Choice Award, "The Trojan Horse" donated by John L Gay, and more.
