CAPLovesKidsHelp your child become an ambassador for our four-footed friends. Whether joining other young humanitarians in the CAP Kids Club or touring the shelter with their scout troop, kids can discover the joy and wonder of befriending animal companions through our humane education and outreach programs.

CAPLovesKidsCAP loves the curiosity, compassion and optimism of children, traits often found in our pups and kittens! Citizens for Animal Protection imagines a better world for animals and people and we believe that children are the key to creating such a world. Through our humane education programs CAP seeks to give our children the knowledge and tools to meet and beat the challenges our furry friends currently face.

Does your child hope to be a Veterinarian? Is he/she mesmerized Animal Planet or internet pet posts? CAP wants your child to join our kid’s club, CAP Kids Club. Elementary age children discover cool facts about animal behaviors, responsible pet care, and ways to help our homeless pets while sharing the company of others with similar interests. Each quarterly meeting includes live interaction with various animals, participation in animal themed crafts or game, a tasty snack and lots of FUN!

Other CAP youth opportunities include shelter tours for scouts and field trips! Reserve our Education Center for your child’s next birthday party. Invite a CAP canine crusader to your school, club or church event for a humane education presentation. Our CAP ambassador dogs make any meeting memorable! This summer register your child for our animal themed week long camp.
