Show Events

Each year, more than 400 active volunteers donate their time, talents and efforts to help our sheltered animals. Their willing hands and caring attitudes can calm anxious dogs and cats when they first arrive at our shelter, guide worried families as they look for lost pets, foster animals needing special care, wait on customers in our pet supply shop or thrift store, and help with special events. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator. For information on adolescent and teen volunteering, contact our Youth Volunteer Coordinator.

Show Events

CAP's newly renovated Thrift Store (located in the old CAP space) sells gently used items of all types that have been donated to CAP and accepts donations every day of the week. Proceeds directly benefit CAP's sheltered animals.

Hours

• Monday - Saturday: 10:00am - 6:30pm
• Sunday: 12:00noon - 6:30pm

Donations

The Thrift Store welcomes most donated items including collectibles, glassware, furniture, 'working' appliances, clothing if clean and 'on hangers' and most any item in good and working condition.  Contact the CAP Thrift Store for more information.
