CAP Events

Run (or walk) for a reason - a four-legged, furry reason! - in the Chevron Marathon, Aramco Half Marathon, and El Paso 5K on January 17, 2010. We are at capacity for the Marathon and Half Marathon but still seeking walkers and 5K participants to collect pledges for Houston's homeless animals at CAP. So come and "Put Your Paws to the Pavement" for CAP!

 

 

Citizens for Animal Protection is proud to be a participating charity for the Chevron Marathon, Aramco Half Marathon and El Paso 5K to be held January 17, 2010. THE MARATHON AND HALF MARATHON ARE SOLD OUT! However, the 5K is still open and CAP is seeking walkers to sign up at houstonmarathon.com for Run for a Reason where you can go to our charity page to become a fundraiser or make a donation. Find a buddy to walk with you and "Put Your Paws to the Pavement" for all the homeless animals waiting for their second chance to find a forever home. Collect pledges from your friends and family to help us care for over 12,000 pets who are surrendered to our shelter every year. Or, see if your company would like to sponsor you and your co-workers or maybe match the money you raise! You can honor your own beloved pet or memorialize one that has passed on by creating a personal webpage to effortlessly raise funds for our worthy cause.
