Hotel Derek is kicking off an event of a different breed for animal lovers. At Derek Dog Day Out, dog-tired professionals and their pampered pooches are invited to the hotel for hors d'oeuvres and cocktails. Join Madison, winner of this year's Project Derek Dog, and co-chairs Sondra Pulford (Madison's human companion) and Hershey Grace of CAP on August 27 from 6 to 9 as we kick off the summer with a networking mixer for the hotel's pet-friendly crowd.

We promise a decidedly delightful dog day evening with cocktails, schmoozing, and pampering for the pooches. Mix and mingle with other professionals. Leash-trained pets are welcome. Proceeds from the event will help support Citizens for Animal Protection.
