Citizens for Animal Protection is searching for creative individuals, groups and companies that accept the challenge to build designer digs for this unique competition. Doggie digs of all kinds are eligible – indoor and outdoor – large and small….we need them all! Your special creation will be auctioned off at the dog show with all proceeds benefitting homeless animals waiting for a forever home at the new CAP shelter. Prizes will be awarded for the People’s Choice, Kid’s Choice and Dixie’s Choice.

For those of you seeking that over-the-top conversation piece puppy palace for your special pooch, come by the Citizens for Animal Protection booth in the front of Reliant Center and check out this sensational event. Bidding in the silent auction begins on Thursday July 21st and ends Sunday at 3:30pm, July 24th. There are crafts for kids, so come by with the whole family, place your vote for your favorite house and be a part of the family fun while helping homeless pets.

Located off Interstate Loop 610 between Kirby and Fannin, Reliant Park is Houston’s top exhibition venue, composed of several state-of-the-art facilities -- Reliant Stadium, Reliant Astrodome, Reliant Arena and Reliant Center.

Reliant Center, site of the Reliant Park World Series of Dog Shows, is a 700,000 square-foot exhibition and meeting hall and the campus’ northernmost building. Parking is only available in the North Fannin Lot (Orange), which you can reach from Fannin via the Holly Hall entrance or from Main at the McNee entrance to avoid South Loop construction. The parking fee is $8 per day. You may also reach Reliant Center by MetroRail at the Holly Hall stop.
