Description

Citizens for Animal Protection is proud to be a participating charity for the Chevron Houston Marathon, Aramco Half Marathon and El Paso 5K to be held January 18, 2009.  CAP is seeking runners/walkers to sign up for the EP5K, which is still open for registration (you can also register to be on the waitlist for the marathon and half-marathon, check the Registration Transfer page for more information).  If you are already to registered to run in the Run for a Reason Marathon or Half-Marathon, consider designating CAP as your pledges recipient.  You can Put your Paws to the Pavement for all the homeless animals waiting for their second chance to find a forever home.  Collect pledges from your friends, family and co-workers to help us care for the 13,000 pets who are surrendered to our shelter every year.  They truly deserve a better life.  Whether you run or walk, you can honor your own beloved pet or memorialize one that has passed on, by creating a personal webpage to effortlessly raise funds for our worthy cause.
