David and Joyce wrote, Tom, given the name Tupac/aka Blitzkrieg and renamed after a resemblance to the cat from “Tom and Jerry,” was adopted on July 19, 2013. He was a big and beautiful cat, but had a bad record of scratching and biting, especially children. We decided to give him an unlikely second chance at a loving home with no children and two cat lovers. Already about 3 years old, Tom was strong and athletic, but needed coaxing into regular play that didn’t quickly turn into scratching and biting. His favorite game is still surprise/hide and seek. We could tell he was a bit confused as a pet, but always liked to be around us, in the same room. We even built him a cardboard house and involved him in Holidays. We had a lot of fun, but he seemed a little lonely at times. So, in September of the same year, we adopted Remmi, found online, as a kitten. They grew to be great companions for each other, like brothers. Tom has proved himself to be the great and impressive cat we knew he would be. He is a dear friend to us and a vital household joy.
Donna wrote, Eli is so sweet and lovable and I am so happy that he is a part of our family.
DeAnna wrote, We love Molly! She and our other dog, Thor, get along like they've known each other since day one!
Jacalyn wrote, Maggie was an owner surrender and one picture she is "Shaggy Maggie" and the other picture is after her trip to the groomer. She loves to play fetch and tug-a-war. She carries around her "happy bear" most of the time. Nick names include Magaroo, Macaroon, Magamoo, Magster, Mags, and cutie patooty. If she isn't playing, she wants to be cuddled and we're okay with that. We also call her our little mountain goat because the way she climbs the furniture and us.
Cari writes, This is our fourth adoption from CAP. We adopted our first baby from you in 1998. Our newest member is Ms. Bailey. She has been a joy and a wonderful addition to our family. The sweetest little girl ever. We are having so much fun with her.
Megan wrote, We adopted Tory on our second anniversary on the way back from a hiking trip, and have since fallen completely head over heels in love with her. She is definitely a "hugger" and loves to give hugs to everyone even strangers, which is sometimes an issue on our morning jogs. I was a little worried she would want to eat my two cats, but she just wants to play with them ALL THE TIME! The cats are often annoyed, because they need their abundant amount of beauty rest, but I have a feeling they'll be cuddling in no time. Tory runs with me almost every morning, and I love having a live-in running buddy. She loves going to the dog park, playing frisbee and tug-of-war and getting lots of undivided attention! We feel like we lucked out with the best dog ever. She truly fits right in with us, and we could not love her more!
Gary Look, DVM writes, Simba is our receptionist, greeter and cliinic cat. He wants to come in the Exam room to see what is happening. He is very comfortable with our canine patients. He is very happy being the cliinic watch cat.
We adopted Fluffy so our Alvin would have a friend. He is so sweet and lovable. He loves cuddles and kisses. Alvin loves his new roommate. He is truly a joyful member of our family.
Megan wrote, Rebecca is adored by the whole family. Her sweet spirit impresses strangers when we take her for walks. We couldn't imagine a better dog for our family.
