CAP has many wonderful cats and kittens available for adoption. Also, new animals arrive every day at the shelter, so our site features only a small number of our residents. For a real feline fandango, stop by the shelter, located at 11925 Katy Freeway in Houston, Texas.

She is known to be good with older kids and up as well as other cats, provided she can have her own litterbox. Sue is a DMH female 2 year old tabby that is cream blue and white in color. She ,was found adjacent to a park in Katy and is still in foster care. Sue was very ,scared when captured and it has taken time to domesticate her. She has made ,dramatic improvement but still likes to occasionally play bite. Therefore she needs ,an experienced cat owner. Sue does OK with dogs and cats but would prefer to be ,an only cat. She likes being around her humans and sleeps at the foot of her ,foster's bed at night. Sue is already spayed and has all of her shots and can go home right away. This six year old is very laid back, quiet and shy. I don't if a lot of his behavior is due to being at the shelter for a few months or if this is his regular personality. He's a very big boy and doesn't quite 'fit' his name. He does get along with other cats but he is dominate and will pick fights to establish his dominance.
