Scruffy is a very handsome, active and friendly Australian Shepherd mix, approximately five years old. He has been through several months of obedience training, and knows his manners really well! However, he has some behavioral quirks as a result of his herding breed background, and requires an experienced owner who is willing and able to work with him on his sensitivities. He needs a home with older children (teenagers up) to adults, and needs to be an only pet. He would love a home with an active family who has time to spend with him and who can help him get the exercise he needs. Scruffy is at Rover Oaks in Katy, where he continues to work on his training and gets time to play with his favorite toy, his rubber chicken!
