Dogs & Puppies for Adoption

CAP has many wonderful dogs and puppies available for adoption. Also, new animals arrive every day at the shelter, so our site features only a small number of our residents. For a real canine caper, stop by the shelter, located at 11925 Katy Freeway in Houston, Texas.

Koda_9576413a_2-7-10Koda_9576413b_2-7-10Koda is a very sweet 1 year old Cocker Spaniel.  He is full of fun, already housetrained and fully grown at about 28 lbs.  He’s good with older kids and adults. He is here at CAP because his owner said they could no longer care for him.  Koda will make a fine companion, so stop by soon and meet him.   Hurry, because time is precious to shelter animals.

Hi!  We are Mastiff/Hound PUPPIES, male, and  female.  When we grow up we will be about seventy lbs.  We will be neutered/spayed on adoption and are working on being housetrained (we are kids! Cut us some slack!).  We are good with older kids to adults and love to PLAY!  We need crating at first.  We love everyone!  We will need love, patience and gentle training but we will pay you back in loyalty and love.
